Biography of LP Somchai:

LP Somchai was born on 7 April B.E.2468 (C.E.1925) at Roiet province. LP Somchai was ordained as Buddhist novice when he was 19 years old at Wat Pasriphaiwan, Roiet province. After ordination, LP Somchai went to study dharma and meditation with LP Mun at Wat Paban Nongphue, Sakonnakhon province. LP Somchai was ordained as Buddhist monk when he was 21 years old at Wat Sriphon, Sakonnakhon province. After studied dharma and meditation from LP Mun for many years, he decided to practice meditation in deep forest around Thailand. Moreover, LP Somchai studied dharma and meditation with many top monks such as LP Fun, LP Sing, LP Orn and other.

LP Somchai passed away on 18 June B.E.2548 (C.E.2005) while he was 80 years old.
